In partnership with TO Live, we are proud to present the women-led Afro-Cuban roots and jazz ensemble, OKAN! Taking their name from the word for heart or soul in the Afro-Cuban religion of Santeria, JUNO-Award winning OKAN fuses Afro-Cuban roots with jazz, folk and global rhythms in songs about immigration, courage and love. We promise that they will have you dancing in your chairs or on the dance floor, so get ready to move to the music!
This concert is designed to be autism- and neurodiversity-friendly, and Meridian Hall is a wheelchair accessible venue. Bring the whole family! Xenia Concerts welcomes all listeners.
