We love our Sunshine Centres community!

Sunshine Centres for Seniors delivers community-building and life-enriching programming to over 2,300 seniors and persons with disabilities in Toronto, particularly seniors at risk of social isolation and seniors with low income. In their own words, “[s]eniors from all walks of life are welcome, including seniors from newcomer communities, seniors with disabilities, and seniors from all ethnic communities, religions, cultures, racialized communities and sexual orientations.” Since 2019, we’ve collaborated with Sunshine Centres on everything from 2SLGBTQ+ positive Pride concerts at Camp Sunshine, to an online painting workshop with live improvised music hosted by Kathryn Patricia, to a hilarious music-and-comedy show with clarinet-accordion duo Bridge & Wolak. Our partnership with Sunshine Centres continues, and we encourage you to spread the word about our events!
