Trio Carnaval presents a zoological fantasy of mime, movement and music through Camille Saint-Saens’ Carnival of the Animals, featuring duo pianists Dakota Scott-Digout and Chloe Weston with mime artist Trevor Copp. This family-friendly Adaptive Concert is designed to welcome and support neurodivergent attendees, people with disabilities, and others who benefit from a relaxed and accessible environment. All ages are welcome!
The Carnival of Animals is a classical music composition by Camille Saint-Saëns, often used to introduce children to the world of classical Western music with movements devoted to elephants, chickens, and turtles. Our production features pianists Chloe Weston and Dakota Scott-Digout performing this incredible piece alongside Trevor Copp’s Mime-inspired interpretation of these animals – watch him become a clucking, growling, and flapping parade of animals who bridge this wonderful music to the hearts of children and adults alike.
