The Legend of Carau is a multimedia music show combining live performance, narration, and dance. The narrative follows a young Argentine ranch worker who journeys to Buenos Aires seeking medicine for his ailing mother, discovering unexpected romance within a tango venue. Based on traditional Argentine folklore.
With music by Payadora, with original tango and South American folkloric compositions by Rebekah Wolkstein and Drew Jurecka, narration by CBC broadcaster Tom Allen and dance by PointeTango (ballet-tango fusion), this storytelling show will be one to remember! Join Xenia Concerts and the City of Mississauga on February 7, 2027 from 11:00AM-12:00PM for The Legend of Carau with Payadora Tango Ensemble!
