The next Xenia Concert at The Sony Centre will be the last one at this venue for the season, leaving audiences with a taste of spring as the weather warms in Toronto. The concert will feature violinist Catherine Cosbey and award-winning pianist Leopoldo Erice, and all of the selections have connections to the theme of nature.

Beethoven had a deep and profound love of nature, and his lovely Sonata Op. 24 for Violin and Piano has evoked images of spring for many listeners. Beethoven’s “Spring” Sonata will be featured alongside other nature-evoking works by Debussy, Vaughn-Williams, Ponce, and Massenet.
