Xenia Concerts Inc. is very excited to welcome the Mercer-Park Duo to the Xenia Family! Composed of Canadians Rachel Mercer (cello) and Angela Park (piano), this Duo will give their first Xenia performances on March 10th for the Ottawa Chamber Music Society, and March 11th at Flato Theatre in Markham Ontario.

“The reason we perform is to connect to people through the beauty and power of music, and Xenia Concerts allow us to do that in the most direct and rewarding way possible,” says cellist Rachel Mercer. “We look forward to sharing the music we love with this audience!”

The Mercer-Park Duo has performed at series and festivals across North America and has been broadcast by CBC Radio. They explore a wide range of repertoire, from the standards of Beethoven and Brahms to the music of living composers.
