Hello! Thank you for reading my bio and artist statement. 

My name is Emily Rho, a pianist committed to creating meaningful connections through music. This mission inspires all my musical endeavours, and I love creating concert experiences where we can feel comfortable and have fun with each other. 

I started my training in classical piano at a young age with my mother, sparking a passion that has grown through formative experiences at the Interlochen Arts Academy, The Glenn Gould School, and the University of Toronto. As a performer, I’ve been fortunate to share the stage with many talented colleagues across Canada, the U.S., Europe, and Asia.  

Beyond my performing work, I’m the co-director of Pocket Concerts, a small business that provides intimate concert experiences that combine music with good company.
