In this fun-filled concert\, you’ll be introduced to the instruments of the string quartet\, and the different personalities of the instruments (and their players). You’ll hear music from across three centuries\, including quartets by Chevalier St. George\, Emmanuel Despax\, Felix Mendelssohn\, tango tunes\, and pop songs arranged by the performers. The young artists of Scotia Festival have teamed up with violist and concert designer Rory McLeod to create an inspiring listening experience that features a variety of music for strings\, woodwinds\, and piano. You’ll hear music by great composers such as Brahms\, Elgar\, Smetana\, and more\, in a welcoming environment with a variety of accessibility adaptations. \nThis concert has been designed to be enjoyable and accessible for neurodivergent listeners\, those with disabilities\, and their families and caregivers.
